Weekends are starting to be for projects instead of recovery and that means I have an excuse for a new planner!
I like to have a “main floor” planner that hangs out in the kitchen. I use it mainly for chores, projects, meal planning and shopping lists.
Of course I have to customize and frankenplan all of my planners. This time, I used school supplies from The Dollar Tree.
If you are looking for my favorite planner supplies, I’ve got you!

I missed the “Back to School” abundance of binders, folders, paper, pencil pouches and pens- but I was still able to find everything I was looking for in the regular office and school supply section at The Dollar Tree.

What I Found: 1″ plastic rainbow decorated binder, cardstock folders, rainbow pencil pouch
I cut up the binder and used it to cover the inside of the covers. I used a large paper cutter to cut the binder apart and then used scissors to round the corners.
The folders were cut with my paper cutter and hole punched using the Classic Happy Planner hole punch.
I was able to trim off the binder grommets with scissors on the pencil pouch and hole punch it. I used the Classic Happy Planner hole punch, but I do not recommend that. I would use the We R Memory Keepers punch and widen the stem with scissors.
I also added some notebook paper that I changed from a spiral letter size to a Classic Happy Planner size. If you want to learn how to do that, head to the video here.

Have you ever tried this? I’d love to know your tips and tricks!
